I don't think Kershaw still has rookie eligibility...
You are correct. He's just over eligibility. However, Maybin is still good. The power/speed combination may be enough to put him past your young center fielder.
Both of you pick Boston to miss the playoffs... interesting. Should be fun to watch that division this year.
I don't understand the Cleveland love. What about that pitching staff says playoffs? Cliff Lee was likely a mirage last year, Fausto Carmona is starting to look like he might be terrible, Anthony Reyes misses no bats and Pavano hasn't pitched in years. I don't get it.

That's certainly the biggest question with that team. I do think Lee was over his head last year, but I don't expect him to drop off a cliff (so to speak). Carmona's control is a big concern, but if he can get that in line he'll be fine. Between Scott Lewis, Aaron Laffey, Jeremy Sowers and Adam Miller (if he can deal with his finger problem), I bet one or two guys emerge at the back end of that rotation.
Part of the "Cleveland Love" I think is also that the AL Central won't be as strong this year. I don't expect Detroit to be competitive and same with the White Sox--they are getting old and have way too many question marks. As for the Royals, they have given their fans hope, sure, but I wouldn't expect them to be much more than a mediocre team. That leaves the Twins and Indians. I think it's a close call, but I think the Indians have the better bullpen and a better potential lineup.
I agree with all of it, minus the us not winning the div. But hey.....I'm a damn homer. wah wah wah. And also minus Cleveland I can go out and say I have the slightest clue who will win our division. But I guess I am leaning towards CLE.
I am just itching for another sox/twins race.
