It's as sure as the sun rising in the east that Punto will be in the line-up no matter what. There will always be an excuse for this inexcusable behavior in Gardenslug's mind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11215059.post-88831695867748472342007-08-28T08:43:00.000-05:002007-08-28T08:43:00.000-05:00Nice recap. That would have been of simular importance to a GDP by Redmond-except he hit into the more noteworthy triple play instead... Also, to add to your Cassilla observatons, I think the error charged to Bartlet which prevented a double play and led to a run was at least in part caused by a poor throw by Cassilla.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11215059.post-83096657792441766532007-08-28T01:50:00.000-05:002007-08-28T01:50:00.000-05:00I 100% agree with the Buscher/Punto comment. I'm guessing the excuse we would hear if we asked would be that, with Carlos Silva pitching, and all the ground balls he allegedgly gets, they want their best defense on the field.

SethSpeaks.netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11215059.post-89620710902139311692007-08-27T22:32:00.000-05:002007-08-27T22:32:00.000-05:00Now it's absolutely critical to win at least one g...Now it's absolutely critical to win at least one game of these next two against Cleveland.
