The prospects you included are all highly flawed; I imagine they'd ask for higher caliber players if they were giving up a sweet-hitting middle infielder and their closer.

Perhaps I'm the only one who has checked-in to see how Craig Breslow has done since the Twins waived him ... So I just want to know what you think of the deal. Twins get: Freddy Sanchez and Matt Capps, Pirates get: Luke Hughes, Brian Duensing, Kevin Mulvey, and Angel Morales. I dont know if that is too much, too little, or even if the Pirates would deal them, but just a tought. Sanchez would fill in at 2nd, and could bat 2nd, and Capps into a setup role. While the Pirates are getting a hot bat in Hughes that may be able to jump right into the bigs, and a few ML ready pitchers, along with a potential star in the OF to play along side McCutchen. So what do you think?Brandonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11215059.post-43105978219405647502009-06-17T12:54:34.169-05:002009-06-17T12:54:34.169-05:00You're preaching to the choir on that one, sir...You're preaching to the choir on that one, sir.Nick N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00848574337121154690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11215059.post-53209343945071288322009-06-17T12:40:32.029-05:002009-06-17T12:40:32.029-05:00The Twins would have more options in AAA if they p...The Twins would have more options in AAA if they promoted their best minor league pitchers in a timely fashion.
